Au large de Rosendal se trouve l'une des plus grandes installations artistiques flottantes au monde, le Salmon Eye. Dans leur centre d'accueil, vous découvrirez le fonctionnement de l'industrie océanique.

Il abrite également le restaurant exclusif Iris Expedition Dining, étoilé au guide Michelin, qui propose un menu dégustation unique de 18 plats.

NOTE : le restaurant Iris est temporairement fermé afin d'aprofondir son concept. Vous pouvez toujours visiter le centre d'exposition à Salmon Eye.

La meilleure façon de profiter de la tranquillité du fjord, c’est le slow travel. Songez à rester une nuit dans un village, par exemple dans un hôtel ou une résidence avec vues panoramiques sur le fjord comme le Hardanger panorama lodge.

En cours de route, vous pouvez aussi faire une escale à Voss et sauter directement dans une télécabine à la gare, jusqu'au sommet du Hangurstoppen – c’est tellement simple !

Vous pouvez redescendre à ski par la station de Voss si le cœur vous en dit – un commerce de location de skis jouxte la gare au sommet.

Les stations de sports d’hiver de Voss et Myrkdalen sont toutes deux des destinations populaires et vous pourrez aisément glisser quelques jours de ski dans votre circuit.
