On trouve des Fjords au Danemark, aux Pays-Bas et en Allemagne, mais c’est la Norvège qui supervise notre élevage en vue de notre sauvegarde.
Le concours annuel des étalons de Nordfjordeid attire beaucoup de monde. Si vous y allez , profitez-en pour rendre une petite visite au Norsk fjordhestsenter (centre norvégien du Fjord).

Bien qu’originaire du Nordfjord en Norvège des Fjords, vous nous trouverez ailleurs dans le pays.
Comme par exemple au Langedrag Natur Park, qui abrite un sympathique troupeau et conduit un programme d’élevage en vue de notre sauvegarde. Tant que vous êtes là, profitez-en pour aller trotter sur les sentiers équestres ou vous initier à la voltige, sorte de gymnastique à cheval !
