Black metal et jazz
La Norvège est à bien des égards un pays d'extrêmes. Ce n'est donc pas une coïncidence si des genres comme le black metal et le jazz y prospèrent depuis des décennies. La Norvège est la patrie du black metal et pour le découvrir, rien de tel que le festival Inferno, qui se tient chaque année à Pâques à Oslo. Il existe également des festivals de jazz internationaux à Bergen, Molde, Kongsberg, Haugesund, Oslo, Lillehammer et bien d'autres encore.
Pour les mordus d'adrénaline, profitez de l'Ekstremsportveko à Voss, le plus grand festival de sports extrêmes en son genre, qui propose également des spectacles musicaux. Ne manquez pas non plus le festival de jazz de Voss, Vossajazz, qui se tient généralement en avril.

Rory Finnin is a leading researcher and communicator in Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar literature and is a professor at the University of Cambridge. He has written the book Blood of Others: Stalin's Crimean Atrocity and the Poetics of Solidarity (2022) about the genocide of the Crimean Tatars, Crimea's indigenous people, in 1944 and how literature – Crimean Tatar, Ukrainian and Turkish – helps to build solidarity and understanding of this trauma. Now Finnin is in the spotlight again with a groundbreaking monograph about Ukraine's national poet, Taras Shevchenko (1814–61), Freedom's Liberator: Taras Shevchenko and the Making of Modern Ukraine (2026). In collaboration with the Department of Foreign Languages (UiB) and the project UA-FLEX, Litteraturhusets Ukraina-serie invites you to a conversation with Rory Finnin. Lørdag 7. november kl. 18.30 dekker vi bord til en viltaften i våre historiske stuer, inspirert av Christian Thams jakteventyr i Trøndelag og omegn. Kortreiste råvarer fra lokale gårder, jegere og sankere, historisk atmosfære og et dyktig kjøkken- og servitørteam gir en unik mat- og drikkeopplevelse. Kvelden starter med norsk sider til aperitiff og en appetittvekker, før vertskapet ønsker dere velkommen til bords. Menyen holdes hemmelig frem til medio september. Vin-, øl- og alkoholfrie anbefalinger kan kjøpes som tilvalg til middagen. Sunday, September 27th from 11am to 4pm we'll be filling Berg Østre with a flea market - and YOU can join in and sell! 🛍️ We want to arrange something social, useful and educational for our children – a real family day where everyone is welcome! Here, both children and adults can clean their homes, earn a few kroner and let things they no longer need find new owners. ♻️ RETAIL SPACE RENT: 300 NOK You will have one round table at your disposal. Downstairs in the litj hall you can sit and chat if you want it a little quieter, down here the age limit will be 20 years. Bar service and food service both upstairs and downstairs. Beeswax sheets can be used instead of plastic for storing bread and other foods. We invite interested parties to come and make their own beeswax sheets. Solveig Løkken will show us how. You bring a piece of cotton cloth, such as a tea towel or pillowcase. Non-members pay NOK 100. A simple supper will be served. Sign up for Singsås Village Women's Association by Harriet Tøndel.
