Storsand Gård Camping

17 km north of Trondheim city is one of Trøndelag’s most beautiful swimming and camping sites. Idyllically located right by the Trondheim Fjord, a stone’s throw from the city. This is a large, well-maintained and well-equipped campsite and has both sandy beach and pebble sand. Cottages apartments and bungalows characterise the serene landscape that goes in green down to the fjord. Shop where you can buy fast-food, large play area and many opportunities to play sports and ball games.

Storsand Gård Camping borders the Midtsandtangen outdoor area, a unique outdoor area. The area is universally designed and on the 150-acre site there are trails, beach and sanitary facilities that are accessible to all. Trøndelag’s largest kitchen garden with both berries, fruits and herbs impresses. There is also a cafe on the beach, and the pavilion Ly and Le has a fixed grill that visitors can use.
