Celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2023, Lysverket is a chef driven and owned restaurant located in the beautiful art museum KODE 4 in the heart of Bergen, Norway. Right next door is the city's concert hall, Grieghallen, and Lysverket is overlooking the picturesque museum & gallery avenue, Rasmus Meyers Allé, the Lille Lungegårdsvann lake, the town square, Festplassen, the hillsides and the city mountain, Fløyen.
Featured in New York Times 2017 as "redefining Nordic Cuisine", Lysverket presents a modern Norwegian cuisine with focus on local seafood, such as handpicked shells and dry-aged fish – but you will also find meat and seasonable vegetable dishes on the menu. The restaurant offers a 10-course tasting menu that can be combined with wine pairings, alcohol free pairings, or a bottle of wine from an extensive wine list.
Lysverket also offer private dining in a Chambre Séparée that can accommodate up to 20 guests. The whole restaurants can take up to 80 guests for special events.
