Flakk Camping

By the fjord, only 11 kilometers west of Trondheim city center is Flakk Camping. The camping has it own sheltered swimming beach, opportunities for fishing from land, and fine hiking in the surrounding area are perfect for guests who want tranquility in scenic surroundings but close to the city.

From Flakk it is easy to drive, cycle (motorway) or take the bus into the center of Trondheim. Flakk Camping is also a great starting point for cycling trips around Byneset (motorway), where you will find the region’s largest golf course. The campsite accepts tent, motorhome and caravan tourists, and has four cabins for rent.

The cabins are equipped with fridge and simple kitchenware. All overnight guests are allowed to use sanitary facilities and showers at no extra charge. Right outside the campsite is Flakk pizza & grill. A grocery store and a gas station can be found at the village of Rye, which is 4 kilometers / 5 minutes away from Flakk Camping.

Choose between a tent, caravan and camper van site or one of our four cabins. This is an excellent area for fishing and swimming. Take route 715 from Trondheim or route 707 from Klett. Season: 1 May – 1 September.
