Union Spa at Union Geiranger Resort & Spa offers 1,500 square metres of wellness, sauna rituals and views of the Geirangerfjord.
Spa & Wellness at Union Geiranger
Union Spa is part of Union Geiranger Resort & Spa, in the small fjord village of Geiranger. The spa spans 1,500 square metres and combines calm and wellness with heated pools indoors and out, treatments and relaxation, all set against the Geiranger landscape.
After a day out exploring Geiranger, it's a good place to slow down, whether the day starts quietly in the spa or ends with a swim in the warm outdoor pool as the mountains rise around you.
The Pools at Union Geiranger
The pool area suits both adults and children. Indoors there is a large heated pool, a children's pool and a sauna, along with comfortable areas with loungers, seating and a fireplace. Outside in the hotel garden, a heated therapy pool awaits with mountain views, just as inviting on a bright summer's day as on a cold winter evening. All guests staying at Union Geiranger have complimentary access to the pools throughout their stay.
Union Spa
For an even deeper sense of relaxation, Union Spa awaits, with relaxation areas where guests can settle into a comfortable chair with the view, a cup of tea or a good book. The spa area includes experience showers, a selection of saunas, a steam bath, hydrowalk and a Japanese hot pool. Spa breakfast is served from 10 am to noon and is included with spa admission, a light continental breakfast featuring quality local products. Fruit, coffee and tea are available throughout the spa visit.
Spa Treatments
Union Spa offers a wide range of face and body treatments, including massage, hammam, body treatments and skincare, carried out by experienced therapists. Booking a treatment in advance is recommended, particularly when spa and wellness are an important part of the stay.
Sauna Ritual
At selected times, Union Spa invites guests to a sauna ritual, where the therapist combines heat, steam and essential oils to create a sensory, relaxing experience. The combination of heat and steam can help stimulate circulation and bring a sense of deep relaxation. The ritual lasts approximately 15 minutes and is included with admission to Union Spa.
Yoga with a Fjord View
Union Geiranger offers instructor-led yoga sessions in a dedicated yoga room in the tower on the fifth floor, with panoramic views across the Geirangerfjord and the surrounding mountains.
