From the Oslo boundary and down towards Prisdalen you pass several burial cairns from the Late Iron Age. On this stretch of the Pilgrim Way there is both tarmac and a soft forest floor, the latter good for the feet. It is worth setting aside time to see the beautiful collection of statues that are in Ekeberg Park, before continuing on city streets towards Lovisenberg.
