Smarthotel Forus

In the Stavanger city centre, the Norwegian Petroleum museum is perfect for both adults and children of all ages. Here you get an insight into the oil business in Stavanger. There are also lots of activities for children such as, 3D film, disaster room, drilling deck and escape chute. Kids could even play on their own while parents participate in other activities at the museum. Another museum you could visit in Stavanger, is the Norwegian canning museum showcasing how the production of canned fish took place in the earlier days in Stavanger. If you would rather walk around without to many plans, you'll find old Stavanger or Straen as the area is also called, Northern Europe's best-preserved concentration of wooden houses. After a fun day with several experiences, you can end the day in the colourful street, located in the centre of Stavanger.
