You have everything you need on site and in the surrounding area. Our renovation and expansion was completed in May 2015 and can now offer new restaurant, bar, conference rooms on two floors, free indoor parking, terraces, fitness area on the top floor and 373 rooms in total.

The first thing you encounter when you arrive Edvard Grieg is our stunning lobby, which with its high ceiling, delicious seating areas, large artworks and meter tall plants invite to a meeting place with relaxed and lovely atmosphere. Restaurant Brasserie X and Bar X is also placed here, which serves good drinks and food for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The hotel is located at Sandsli with famous sights nearby such as Troldhaugen, activity center Leos Playland, Vannkanten and Fana Golf. Bergen's largest shopping center Lagunen is also within walking distance of the hotel. The surrounding area also has great hiking trails to offer. We bring our guests free to nearby businesses and the airport every morning, Monday to Friday.

From May 2015 the hotel offers 223 new standard rooms decorated in a bright, relaxing Nordic style. With 20 m2, fast internet and smart solutions is everything set for a comfortable stay. For even more comfort, you can upgrade to the superior / deluxe and stay at 35 m2.
Make sure to visit our magnificent fitness area on the top floor. All modern exercise equipment is available and you can refill your energy in the TV lounge. The view of the city mountains and starry sky is also breathtaking.

All our family are 35 m2 and there is plenty of room for kids on the sofa bed in the living room or on a extra bed. Each room has space for a cot.

All year round, the hotel has special offers for children such as a playroom, children's menu in the restaurant, bikes and games for borrowing and more. In addition, we are partners with Leo's Playland, Bergen's largest indoor playland, located just 3 minutes drive from the hotel. Vannkanten Waterworld is 10 minutes drive away. Our guests only pay half price. In the summer period we are even more children-friendly.

Conference:
Brand new conference area, covering two floors of the hotel. 20 meeting rooms and a banquet hall with approx. 1,000 m2 of floor space and a capacity for 1080 people.

All meeting rooms feature the latest in technical setup. Many of the meeting rooms have large flat screens, while others have projectors.

Our unique, glass atrium lobby is full of natural light and is a perfect meet and mingle area for conference guests. It's also been used for exhibitions, high-flying acrobatic shows and other entertainment, launch parties with pyrotechnics and much more.
