Nyvågar is idyllically located in Kabelvåg in Lofoten, surrounded by sea and spectacular mountains. Here you have great hiking areas nearby both winter and summer. In Lofoten you can surf, ski, climb, hike in the mountains and at the same time enjoy a large cultural offer with food, drink and events.

The hotel consists of 30 traditional rorbuer on the quayside with a view of the sea and mountains, Lofotspa with outdoor hot tubs, sauna and a relaxation area. We offer rooms for large and small events and welcome large and small groups for courses and conferences. From the hotel's good restaurant you can enjoy the view of one of Lofoten's most majestic mountains Vågakallen and eat delicious dishes inspired by local and Norwegian food traditions. The hotel has restaurant capacity for 70 guests, a party room that can accommodate 120 guests and Akevittloftet which has one of Norway's largest aquavit collections.

We have 30 rorbuer with two double rooms in each. This gives a capacity of 60 people in single rooms or 120 in double rooms. The rorbuer are 50 square meters on two levels and have a private bathroom with toilet and shower, living room with dining area for 4 people. Equipped kitchen with stove, coffee maker and refrigerator. Free wireless internet. All rooms have good beds, delicious duvets and hotel pillows. Bed linen, towels and final cleaning are included in the accommodation.

There is something about the smell of salt water in the morning, clear blue air and the opportunity to make your own cup of coffee in your own kitchen before breakfast, push open the patio door, and just put your feet on a morning warm wooden pier. A morning in the rorbu before the work conference, the holiday or a big event. Outside we have our own barbecues that guests can use.

Our guests have free parking and there is a charging station for Tesla and electric cars.

We are Eco-Lighthouse certified which means that we implement sustainability in all aspects, including waste management, purchasing local seasonal raw materials, consumption, working environment, etc.
