At the School Museum you can join an exciting journey through the history of Norwegian schools – and hence the history of Norwegian society – from medieval times to the current day. The School Museum is located in the old Bergen Cathedral School, which it shares with the Holberg Museum. Ludvig Holberg is the schools most famous alumnus, and the Holberg Museum lets you experience this fascinating comedy writer, historian and educator. Sundays in spring and autumn we offer early music concerts at the museum. The venue is Mesterlektien – the head master's classroom and the heart of this 18th century building. If you buy a full-price ticket at the first museum, you get 50% discount on the admission fee to all of our other museums throughout the year. Groups on request. Closed November and December
