The most beautiful canal trip - with 10 locks!

Welcome on board M/S Telemarken - a boating experiences for everyone!

M/S Telemarken was built at Västervik's new shipyard in Sweden in 1951 and has operated on the Telemark Canal since 1988. At first she operated between the islands in Gothenburg and then in the Stockholm archipelago. The boat takes 96 passengers, has an engine of 440 hp. and makes a speed of 9 knots.

M/S Telemarken runs like the other canal boats on the Telemark canal route, but in a somewhat shorter season.
The owner's motto is to create a boating experience for everyone. We therefore offer the boat to private companies and company trips in addition to scheduled trips. We are also the only canal boat that sails on the Telemark canal's eastern run towards Notodden and through the idyllic Sauarelva. Our home port is Akkerhaugen Brygge on Norsjø.

In scheduled traffic, we offer simple service from our "SKUTEMENU", such as sausages, toast, waffles, ice cream and drinks. We also offer drinks from local suppliers from the fruit village (Fruktbygda).

For the other offers, charters and lunch cruises, we have our own main courses or pick up short-distance food from local suppliers.
