Juvasshytta is Northern Europe's highest tourist lodge, at the foot of Galdhøpiggen.
Juvasshytta is Northern Europe’s highest Mountain Lodge , situated at the foot of Norway's highest mountain; Galdhøpiggen.
Juvasshytta is a family-driven mountain lodge and the closest starting point to Galdhøpiggen. With traditions from 1884 combined with today's standards, Juvasshytta brings you into the adventure.
Juvasshytta has 36 rooms, with a total capacity of 120 people. You can choose between rooms with 2-4 beds (w/private bathroom) and rooms with 2-5 beds in the annex (w/shared bathroom). Dogs are allowed in some of our rooms in the annex, and they must have a crate. Room with dog: kr 100,-
It is served breakfast, dinner and lunch at Juvasshytta, including full board, beer and wines.
Hiking to Galdhøpiggen from Juvasshytta:
Juvasshytta is centrally situated for hiking to Galdhøpiggen. Daily walks with guide in the summer season.
At the top is the Galdhøpiggen cabin where you can enjoy your packed lunch. Sale of hot and cold drinks, T-shirts, badges and cards with the Galdhøpigg postmark.
If you wish to enjoy the joys of skiing, the Galdhøpiggen Summer Skiing Centre is only a 15 minute walk away.
