INSPIRIA science center in Sarpsborg is one of Norway's most exciting destinations for curious families.



At INSPIRIA science center in Sarpsborg, a day filled with exploration, activities and the joy of science awaits the whole family. Here, visitors of all ages can test, play, build and learn through experiences that engage both the mind and the body. INSPIRIA has permanent exhibitions, including an energy exhibition developed in collaboration with Østfold Energi, as well as themed exhibitions that change throughout the year. The experiences continue outdoors. In INSPIRIA’s outdoor activity park, children can burn off energy on the pump track, test their cycling skills and enjoy fun activities in the open air. The combination of indoor exhibitions, outdoor activities and a varied programme makes INSPIRIA a great place to visit both on sunny days and when the weather is a little less predictable.



Café and shop



When energy levels need a boost, INSPIRIA’s welcoming café offers refreshments and snacks for visitors of all ages, providing the perfect opportunity to recharge for the next round of activities. The shop offers a wide selection of exciting experiment kits, science toys and unique gifts – perfect souvenirs from your visit.



EV charging park



Just outside the building is one of the region’s largest EV charging parks, ideal for visitors travelling by electric car. While the car is charging, the whole family can explore the centre and make the most of their visit without feeling rushed. There are also plenty of parking spaces for petrol and diesel cars.

INSPIRIA is a regional science centre serving the entire Eastern Norway region, established to strengthen interest in science, technology and sustainability. The centre works closely with schools, businesses and research communities to make knowledge accessible, engaging and relevant. With a clear focus on exploration and learning, INSPIRIA creates spaces where children and adults can be inspired to understand more about the world – and perhaps dream a little bigger.
