Avaldnes is Norway's eldest royal residence and was the home of Norway's very first king Harald Fairhair. In an underground well formation, you will find the source of all knowledge and at the Nordvegen history center, you will walk through Avaldsnes' fascinating history of Viking leaders and the magical world of Norse mythology.
