Hakkebakkeskogen in Dyreparken Kristiansand

As a guest in Hakkebakkeskogen, you can enjoy fantastic entertainment and meet the well known and beloved animals from the universe of Thorbjørn Egner. A specially built grandstand train takes you deep into the forest on an unforgettable journey.

All entertainment in Hakkebakkeskogen takes place in a real forest, creating the feeling of stepping into another world. The entertainment is very popular, so it is recommended to book your place well in advance.

Here you can experience The Journey through Hakkebakkeskogen, The Climbing Mouse Tour, and The Climbing Mouse and Breakfast Train Experience. The latter is a breakfast offering where all guests receive breakfast bags to enjoy during the train ride, accompanied by songs and storytelling from the Climbing Mouse, Baker Master Harepus, and the Baker’s Assistant.

In Hakkebakkeskogen, you can also enjoy organic food at Ekorn Jensen’s Debio certified café or purchase souvenirs from Ekorn Jensen’s shop. A fun playground is located near the entrance to the grandstand train, where children can play and shorten the waiting time before departure.

During the summer season, there are several departures per hour. There are two ways to secure a place:

1. Reserve a place: You can reserve a place here, also in combination with a ticket to Dyreparken.

1. Drop in: The remaining capacity is reserved for drop in guests. For every departure, it is always possible to queue and join the next available grandstand train.
