There is something special about entering Nærøyfjord.
The mountains rise straight out of the water, the waterfalls echo through the fjord, and
the landscape suddenly feels both powerful and completely quiet at the same time.
Begin your adventure at Flåm Marina, where you’ll meet your guide and receive your thermal suit, life jacket, and goggles. Board the RIB boat and set off on a scenic journey through the Aurlandsfjord and Nærøyfjord.
Feel the fresh air and hear the waterfalls as you travel through the fjords, with no barriers between you and the stunning landscape. Pass by small fjord farms, waterfalls, and places where people have lived for generations despite the steep mountains and isolated surroundings.
Make several stops along the way to take in the scenery, ask questions, and experience the fjord properly — not simply pass through it. Listen to your guide share stories about the fjords, local life, history, and culture.
The fjords invites both admiration and reflection — not only about the history of the people who lived here, but also for those who still do today.
Our guides share stories about the fjords.
We make several stops during the tour, giving you time to take in the scenery, ask questions and experience the fjord properly — not simply pass through it. The tour begins at Flåm Marina and takes you through both the Aurlandsfjord and the Nærøyfjord.
Travelling by open RIB boat brings you close to the nature around you — feeling the fresh air, hearing the waterfalls and experiencing the fjord without barriers between you and the landscape.
This is a two-hour experience created for travellers who want to see and experience the Nærøyfjord in a personal and authentic way.
