Fjordsight Resort

The new owners, Sverre Solibakke and Solveig Midtbø, of Fjordsight has been working on a major upgrade of the facility since 2019. The location of the campsite is in between the deepest lake in Europe, Hornindalsvatnet, and the highest sea cliff in Europe, Hornelen with its beautiful 890 meters above the sea level. A beautiful sea view towards Hornelen can be experienced from the cabins and from the pitches for motorhomes, caravans and tents. When you visit Fjordsight you can experience a beach where you can swim, and if you would like a trip out on the sea there are rental boats. Within a radius of 45 minutes, you can visit several different attractions in the area, such as Måløyraidsenteret, Kråkenesfyr, Refviksanden, Kannesteinen, Selje monastery, Hoddevik which is known for its surfing environment, Sagastad knowledge center, Fjordhestsenteret, Harpefossen ski centre and several different hiking trails in the mountains. Since not everyone travels with a caravan or motorhome, one can now experience Nordfjord Glamping at Fjordsight. A glamorous form of accommodation in tents.
