Fishingtrip with "Discovery "

Experience the Lofoten fishery with MS "Discovery". In our fast and comfortable vessel, we take you to the fishinggrounds at Lofotens inner and outside. Depending on where the Norwegian Arctic cod is located.

The boat is rigged with professional equipment for deep sea fishing in addition to the traditional “Juksa”
As a guest you have ability to watch the search for fish with the highly sophisticated echosounder on board via large screens in the cabin. On the trip out to the cod fields there are great opportunities to see Cormorants, Gannet and the majestic sea eagle. We move through narrow straits, between the mountains of Lofoten.

Ms Discovery has comfortable seating inside the heated cabin. Here, it's nice to take a break from the activity out on the deck and get a hot beverage. The vessel has most facilities, such as toilets, fridge, WIFI + +

We start and end your trip in Svolvær and set up the route depending on the weather conditions. The trip may also start from elsewhere in the Lofoten Islands, by appointment.

Warm suit and vest is included, but it is recommended to have warm clothes and good shoes.
Light refreshments served on board.
Meet on the Pier 15 min before the trip starts for security information and info about the trip.
