We pick you up at your hotel/accommodation at 18:00.
After arriving in the dog yard, we will take you to Tommy`s Lodge.
Here we live simply, but we surely will spoil you a little, after all you are our guest for the evening.

In our recently refurbished cabin, Tommy`s Lodge, you'll get to settle in and enjoy your stay. There you may read a book by the fireplace with a cup of coffee, or if you prefer, you can go out and explore the nearby surroundings instead. You may then also say hello to your furry husky neighbours from outside the fence in the meantime.

At 19:00, you will meet your host for the evening in our turf hut around an open fire, where a delicious soup/stew will be served. If the weather permits, your host will take you on a short walk around our place, to show you the best spots to take photos and so on.

On this little walk, you may be able to see a bit of the landscape lit up only by the stars and the moon. Or if you are lucky, you may also see the Northern Lights! It is easier to see Northern lights from our place since we are situated a bit outside of town. We depend on the weather forecast to see them, of course. If the sky is clear, the chances are good.

However, if the weather is not so good, your host will share some thoughts and knowledge about Svalbard, answer some questions you may wonder about and have a chat inside the warm and cozy hut around the open fire.

Whenever we're going a bit outside the property to take photos, our guide will be carrying proper safety equipment.

Around 22:00, our host will say goodnight, and you can get back to Tommy`s Lodge and crawl under the duvets for the night.

Important! If there are still chances to see northern lights after 22:00, you may want to go outside by yourself to check, but you can only stay around the cabin and the other facilities within the property.

You will have enough time to enjoy your stay a little longer in the morning and early afternoon. Your host will be ready to drive you back to town at 14:00.

More Regarding the overnight at Tommy`s Lodge: You will not need to share the cabin with other guests, only with those who are joining you on the same reservation.

The cabin has 2 bedrooms, each bedroom has 2 single beds, and there are 2 extra mattresses up on the loft over the living room. Totaling 6 sleeping places at Tommy`s Lodge.

There is always someone from our team at the dog yard during the night. Information about safety will be given upon arrival.
