Cider tasting and farm shop at Apal Sideri

Dan Olav Sæbø is a 13th generation farmer on the fruit farm. The farm has been in the family since the 17th century, and Gravenstein, Rød Aroma, Rubinstep, Discovery and Rød Elstar are grown here.

Apple juice has long been produced on the farm, but when Dan Olav took over in 2020, he also started with apple cider production. Already the same year, his first cider, "Sølvsider", won gold for the world's best "sparkling cider". He has produced several types of cider, and is constantly developing new flavors.

At the farm shop, you can buy both apple juice and apple cider. If you like, you can enjoy it on the terrace, with a great view of the Hjelmelandsfjord.

During summer, you can join a guided tour with cider tasting.
