Bike-Rental and Fretex Second-Hand

Tønsberg has been named one of Norway's best cycling towns. You can rent a bicycle from the Salvation Army's Fretex shop (Pedalkraft), which also runs the Bicycle Workshop. If you already have a bike in need of repair, you can also get help here.

The Pedalkraft bike-rental is located just off the Tønserg railway-station. The Salvation Army also has a Fretex Second Hand shop and Café. The café also offers Take Away, and has plenty of goodies you can take on your bike ride. The cafe and shop is in Rådhusgaten 1 and 4 by the harbour.
