Behind the large wooden doors awaits a warm and atmospheric experience inspired by Norse mythology, traditional craftsmanship and the iconic nine-meter-high fireplace at the center of the restaurant. The menu features the signature Ægir Viking Plank – five dishes paired with five different beers – alongside seasonal dishes prepared with locally sourced ingredients.
Ægir Gastropub is open year-round as both a restaurant and pub, serving an à la carte dinner menu in the evenings. From May to October, guests can also enjoy an à la carte lunch menu.
Ægir’s Beer Garden is a lively gathering placer by the harbor outside Ægir Gastropub — an atmospheric outdoor dining area with traditional gatehouses and views of the fjord.
