Tromsøbadet is a modern swimming and wellness centre in the heart of Tromsø, and one of the region’s most popular places for both activity and relaxation. Here, you can play, swim, slide, unwind and enjoy views of the Arctic landscape – all in one place. The facility is suitable for families, couples, friends and travellers looking for a warm, safe and fun break from city life.

The centre features several water slides, diving facilities, a splash pool for children, an outdoor pool and calm zones for relaxation. Tromsøbadet also has the world’s northernmost 50-metre pool, perfect for both training and recreation. Inside, you’ll find warm zones and saunas where you can recharge after an active day. The café offers hot meals, baked goods, drinks and snacks, and the shop sells swimwear, swimming equipment and other essentials for your visit. Whether you’re looking for a refreshing dip, a relaxing moment or a fun water experience, Tromsøbadet has everything you need. Practical information
Tromsøbadet uses a drop-in ticket system. Drop-in means a day pass: you pay one price and can stay in the facility for as long as you like on the same day.It is not necessary to book in advance. Tickets can be purchased directly at the entrance.If you prefer, tickets can also be purchased at tromsobadet.no.Remember to bring a towel, soap and approved swimwear.There are changing rooms, showers and good facilities for both children and adults.Children under 12 must always be accompanied by an adult.Tromsøbadet is open 362 days a year. How to get here:
Tromsøbadet is situated at Templarheimen, about 10 minutes by bus from the Tromsø city Center. There are good parking opportunities, and the bus stop is nearby.
