At Nerskogen, at the foot of Trollheimen, you'll find Trollheimen Husky. A family business run by a family of six, who have been actively involved with dogs and dog sledding for 20 years. The experience begins in the dog yard and then heads out into the fantastic surroundings of Trollheimen.
On full-day and half-day tours, you start by greeting the dogs that will be part of the team. Participants receive simple training on the sled and equipment, and get to try putting harnesses on the dogs before they are attached to the team and ready to go. After the tour, there’s plenty of time to cuddle with the dogs, and you can also light a fire to enjoy any food you’ve brought along.
With the focus on the dogs, both young and old can try dog sledding, and it’s popular to drive your own dog team. Children over 8 years old can try driving a dog team themselves, while children under 8 years old enjoy the ride best in the sled. The tour is quickly adapted to the one booking and the group's needs, and there are always two guides on each tour.

GROUP TOUR

Price: on request. Discount for larger groups.
Minimum: 4 adults.
Suitable for groups of about 4-40 people per day.
Intended for extended families, organizations, companies, school classes, teams, and associations.
Includes use of lavvo and shelter.
Length of the tour: about 9 km. Larger groups often take a shorter tour of about 4 km.
