It's like stepping straight into a fairy tale when you first arrive at Villmarksleiren. Hidden among the trees are buildings inspired by old and traditional Norwegian architecture. At Gapahuktunet, you can sleep outdoors in fresh air but under a roof. This is an excellent lodging choice for bachelor parties, groups of friends, and school classes. It's cozy to gather around the bonfire before bedtime under a star-filled sky.
If you rent Gamma, there's space for up to 40 people, often used for birthdays, confirmations, and other gatherings. It's warm and welcoming, providing a good night's sleep indoors with a fireplace in the middle that creates a great atmosphere throughout the night. There's also a kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, two sinks, counter space, and a separate kitchen entrance.
Staying in the sælehuset offers a unique atmosphere with 40 sleeping places. The house has three rooms, with the central room featuring a fireplace and seating around it, and two rooms solely for sleeping. Adjacent to sælehuset is a log-built forest hut with 4 beds, for those who prefer a private sleeping arrangement. The surroundings and the building create a social and relaxed atmosphere, perfect for gathering around the fireplace in the evening after a long day of activities.
Then there are the Arctic Domes – luxury camping, or "glamping." Here, it's just you, nature, and the starry sky in comfortable surroundings inside these luxury tents. Each dome includes pillows and duvets, with toilet and shower facilities within walking distance, final cleaning, drinking water, and a kettle inside the tent. The only things you need to bring are sheets, pillowcases, duvet covers, and your own food. You can choose to enjoy a night with your loved one or a small group of friends. Each Arctic Dome accommodates up to 4 people, equipped with both a double bed and bunk beds.
