Welcome to Østtorphytta, a DNT-cabin!

Welcome to Østtorphytta!



Østtorphytta and the associated climbing park are a popular hiking destination for both children and adults. The cabin is in Sarpsborg.



The DNT cabin was completed in 2016 and is located at an old homestead with the forest as its nearest neighbour and has a beautiful view of the landscape.



This is a no-service cabin, locked with a DNT key. There is electricity and running water in the cabin with an outdoor toilet for cabin guests in the barn in the yard. The barn should be locked. Day trip guests will find a separate outdoor toilet closer to the path nearby the climbing park.



You can walk into the cabin from the parking lot - here you will find a blue-marked path that you follow all the way to the cabin. Have a nice walk in to the cabin!
