Øen Turistsenter

Øen Tourist Center is a modern vacation center with overnight accommodations in well-equipped, roomy apartments with a good standard and nice, varied cabins. Øen Tourist Center has ideal accommodations for big and small families, but also for groups or associations.

Guests have a wide range of accommodation to choose from, and Øen Turistsenter cater for families, sports clubs and groups.
There are cross-country ski tracks on the doorstep and well-prepared downhill slopes at the ski centers. Free fishing.

Øen is a perfect place to opt for both in winter and summer.

Øen is located in the middle of the winter paradise of activity choices in Geilo. The cross country tracks start directly from the center, and the ski bus brings the guests directly to Geilo's many ski lifts. Also during the summer, Øen and Geilo are a great starting point for walks in magnificent natural surroundings or for day trips that combine experiences from both mountain and fjord.

We offer free Internet access, shower facilities.

Øen Tourist Center is located right on the main road (RV7) just 2 km east of the center of Geilo, between Oslo and Bergen.

In the main building you will find the reception and a café where we serve breakfast. It is also possible to order hot rolls and bread. For groups that book in advance, we can offer all meals.

Øen turistsenter is concerned with the environment, and we are today an environmentally certified company. We offer waste sorting, in addition to we want to reduce the use of electricity, water and fuel. We hope that our guests appreciate the environmental work and will follow up on the measures. Every year we fill out and deliver the Climate and Environmental Report, it is available to everyone by request.
