Explore Rondane - easy hikes in great mountain terrain

Explore Rondane is the perfect multi-day hike in Norway for those who want friendly terrain, well-marked trails, and breathtaking views of Rondane National Park. Surrounded by dramatic mountains and vast landscapes, this trek is suitable for both beginners and seasoned hikers – and especially great for families with children. Along the way, you may spot native birds like grouse, or even encounter wild animals such as reindeer, moose, and fox.

The Explore Rondane self-guided trek offers the freedom of independent hiking without the heavy backpack. Each stage is between 6–12 km per day in relatively easy terrain, making it accessible for most fitness levels. Your luggage is transported between lodges, so you can enjoy the hike with just a light daypack.

After a rewarding day on the trail, you’ll be welcomed at traditional mountain lodges with comfortable beds, private bathrooms, and a delicious three-course dinner.

Per person in double room: NOK 6 800.-
Single room supplement: NOK 1 125.-
Extra night at any of the lodges: NOK 1 970.- per night incl breakfast, self-packed lunch and dinner

1 child under 12 years, free in parents room (2 fully paying adults)
Second child under 12 years, 50% discount in parents room (2 fully paying adults)
