Starting point

Freim. Follow route 13 towards Tyssedal from Odda. 300 meters after the bridge over the Opo river, take the first road on the right, then first left up Freimsvegen.



About the trail

The trail starts at the end of the Freimsvegen road. Follow signs to Rossnos and Freimsstølen. From Freimsstølen, the trail is marked to Rossnos. Very steep until Freimstølen. Then undulating terrain until you reach the peak. Amazing views overlooking Odda, the Folgefonna glacier and the fjord below. Be aware of steep cliffs.



Parking: Park in the centre of Odda.

Parking fee: varies, depending on parking location.

Length: 4 km (one way)

Total ascent: 1,200 meters

Total walking time: 6 hours
