Slottsfjelltårnet - The Castle Rock Tower is Tønsberg's most famous landmark and is part of Slottsfjellsmuseet which is located at the foot of the hill.

La tour fut édifiée en 1888 à la suite de la destruction par un incendie en 1876 de la tour en bois existante, qui datait de 1856.
A l'intérieur de la tour on trouve la croix de l'église Ste. Marie.
Terrasse avec vue panoramique d'une hauteur de 80 mètres.

La tour du mont du Château a un cachet de poste avec son propre motif. La tour a 17 m de haut et a trois inscriptions royales.
