The Hovden Alpine Centre is a modern and well-adapted facility for the whole family. The children's area "Tusseland" has become an eldorado for our youngest guests; and the terrain park is more spectacular than ever and is considered one of the best in Norway.

Hovden Alpine Center is located at the top of Setesdal and is among Norway’s most popular and snow-reliable ski resorts. With more than 42 km of slopes spread across 33 runs and a vertical drop of 420 meters, the resort offers something for everyone, from families with children and beginners to experienced skiers. The lift system has a capacity of over 9,000 people per hour, ensuring quick access to the slopes and more time spent skiing.

The chairlifts take you all the way up to more than 1,180 meters above sea level, where panoramic views of Hovden and the Setesdal mountains create a true alpine atmosphere. From the summit, you can choose between gentle green runs and steep black slopes, with wide carving runs as well as exciting off-piste areas offering fresh powder after snowfall.

Hovden Alpine Center is highly family-friendly, with a wide range of slopes suitable for all skill levels. In the children’s area, Tusseland, you will find two platter lifts, magic carpets, and safe slopes that are perfect for younger skiers. The area also features a children’s park with jumps and rails, as well as fun forest trails nearby.

Hovden Parken is considered one of the best terrain parks in Norway and has hosted both national snowboard and freeski championships. The park includes a blue park for beginners and a red park for more advanced riders, in addition to an exciting ski cross course. For freeride enthusiasts, the surrounding mountain sides offer excellent opportunities to explore your own lines and enjoy powder skiing.

In addition to alpine skiing, you can also take the chairlift to the top and start your cross-country ski tour from there. From the mountain plateau, well-prepared cross-country trails lead further into the high mountains, offering spectacular views of the surrounding peaks around Hovden.
