Hermes II Shrimp Cruise

This tour is operated by Hermes II.

Every Friday at 4:15 PM (16:15), we depart from Torghuken for a scenic shrimp cruise through the Tromsø Sound, from 4:15 PM (16:15) to 6 PM (18:00). This is quite possibly Tromsø’s most flavourful after-work experience. Unwind after the week, enjoy the views from the sea, and let the weekend feeling settle in – whether you are with friends, colleagues, on a date or simply treating yourself.

On board, we serve premium shrimp from our own brand – “Arctic Quality by Hermes”. Caught in the Barents Sea by our freezer trawlers Hermes and Hera, the shrimp are freshly frozen at sea to preserve their exceptional quality and taste, bringing you as close to the source as possible.

The bar is open throughout the cruise, offering cold beverages.

Enjoy the fresh Arctic air on deck, or relax inside in the warm and charming saloon.

Hermes II is a 109-year-old wooden vessel with a remarkable history – she was actively shrimp fishing in the Barents Sea as early as the 1960s. Along the way, we share authentic stories about life at sea, the fisheries and the people behind it – right where they belong.

Perfect for friends, colleagues, a date – or simply yourself.

And yes – the Arctic sea air is included.
