Haukelifjell Ski Center is one of the most snow-safe destinations in Norway. In addition, it has plenty of space for safe skiing and 2 children's slopes.

Haukelifjell Ski Centre is one of Norway's most snow-sure destinations, known for early snowfall and a dry, cold climate that guarantees a long ski season. The resort offers a complete experience for everyone, from families with young children to experienced freeriders.

The Ski Resort in Numbers

  • Lifts and Slopes: The resort features a total of 6 lifts and 16 slopes, providing a skiable area of an impressive 15 km.

  • Slope Design: All slopes are wide, offering ample space for safe and comfortable skiing for all ability levels.

Family and Children's Area

Haukelifjell is a perfect resort for families with children thanks to its dedicated and safe zone:

  • Vennebakken (The Children's Slope): This area is physically separated from the rest of the alpine resort, providing children with a safe and shielded environment.

  • Activities: The youngest guests (recommended up to 10 years) will find many fun challenges, including various jumps, bridges, and tunnels of differing difficulty.

  • Free Magic Carpet: Access to the area is easy with two separate children's slopes that feature free magic carpets (conveyor belts).

  • Service Point: The area is connected to Tyrvelidhallen (the service building), where parents have a great overview of the activities from the terrace.

  • Note: The magic carpet and slope are unstaffed. Guardians must supervise their children and should not leave them unattended.

Freeriding and Terrain Park

For those seeking more thrills, Haukelifjell tempts with:

  • Excellent Off-Piste: Unique and vast freeriding opportunities for the experienced – Haukelifjell is a paradise for off-piste skiing.

  • Haukelifjell Terrain Park: Located at the edge of Grasdalen and offers:

    • 3 large Big Jump profiles and a Corner at the end of the line.
    • A varied Rail Line with 3+ features.
    • The entire terrain park is equipped with floodlights and is accessible for evening skiing. (Remember to familiarize yourself with the park usage guidelines).

Cross-Country and Accommodation

  • Cross-Country Skiing: Fantastic conditions with a total of 70 km of groomed trails, available both in the high mountains and in the lowlands.

  • Accommodation: Stay in beautiful and modern apartments with a location right on the slopes (ski in/out).
