Narvik
Flyt Narvik is a public cycling and skate park at Jaklamyra, close to the center of Narvik. Here, pump track, concrete skate park and the joy of activity close to the city meet in an open outdoor area for children, young people, families and active visitors.
Flyt Narvik bike & skatepark is made for speed, balance and mastery. At Jaklamyra, on the lower side of Narvik stadium, there is an open activity park where you can cycle, skate and ride a scooter in a social and urban outdoor area.
The park is an initiative from Narvik Cycling Club and Narvik Snowboard Club, with the goal of creating an activity arena for children, young people and families. Here, play, activity and family time will be at the center, without the requirement for membership or organized sports.
The first construction stage was completed in August 2024 and consists of a pump track and a concrete skate park. The pump track allows for speed, flow and technique, while the skate park allows for creative use with skateboards, scooters and other wheel-based activities.
Flyt is also a local meeting place. The free park gives both locals and visitors a place to meet, try something new and use their bodies, with a short distance from the city and Narvik's everyday life.
