A unique winter activity on the Hardangerfjord — an easy, slightly urban fjord-floating experience just outside Thon Hotel Sandven in Norheimsund.

njoy one of the calmest winter experiences in Norway as you float on the still waters of Norheimsund Bay — only 80–90 min from Bergen. This location offers a slightly more urban-style fjord experience, with the village waterfront and marina close by. Here, you can walk straight to the shoreline and literally step into the Hardangerfjord before drifting weightlessly in a warm immersion suit for 25–30 minutes. Our local guide stays close throughout the session.



The mix of quiet fjord nature and a small, lively village atmosphere creates a unique contrast you won’t find elsewhere in the fjords.



After your float, we gather by the fjord for a warm drink and light refreshments — a simple, relaxing way to end a memorable winter activity in Hardanger.
