Our small group tour, limited to just 8 guests, offers a personalised and immersive Aurora hunt.

This tour is operated by Borealis Tour.

Last season, we guided countless guests to unforgettable Aurora Borealis experiences. We combine in-depth local knowledge with cutting-edge technology to track solar activity and identify breaks in the cloud cover, maximising your chances of witnessing the Northern Lights during your stay.

If your accommodation is located elsewhere, we will drive you back after the tour, provided it is within 10 km of Tromsø city centre. For accommodation outside this area, we will drop you off at a convenient taxi rank and gladly assist you with arranging a taxi, ensuring you get back safely and with ease.

Your intimate Aurora adventure includes:

• The ultimate pursuit: Our small group size gives us exceptional flexibility. Your experience is our priority, and we are committed to chasing clear skies. We travel to multiple locations, including Finland when necessary, to maximise your chances of seeing the Northern Lights.

• A cosy Arctic camp: Enjoy a warm and intimate campfire experience beneath the stars. Listen to fascinating stories about the Northern Lights, Arctic wildlife and the history of Tromsø while roasting marshmallows, locally made sausages and local snacks, accompanied by hot drinks.

• Complimentary professional photographs: With more time dedicated to each guest, our photographer will capture stunning portraits of you beneath the dancing Aurora. After the tour, we will send your high-resolution portrait and landscape photographs free of charge.

• All-weather comfort: Stay warm and comfortable throughout the evening with thermal suits, hand warmers, headlamps and tripods available when needed. Our small-group format is designed to give you the best possible chance of experiencing this magical phenomenon.

The tour begins outside the entrance of Clarion The Edge (by the statue at the main entrance), where your guide will meet you. The location is within walking distance of many central hotels, including:

• Radisson Blu Hotel

• Scandic Ishavshotel

• Skaret by Vander

• Quality Hotel Grand Tromsø

A safe and comfortable return is part of the experience. We offer drop-offs at hotels located along Tromsø's main street.
