Join our ice fishing tour not far away from Tromsø City in a hidden valley and fjord, where you will find an Arctic paradise that remains largely untouched.

This tour is operated by Best Arctic.

Experience the unique landscapes and warm hospitality of Northern Norway. This is where we invite you to discover Tromsø’s best-kept secret, surrounded by wild, breathtaking, and peaceful Arctic scenery.

On our Arctic Ice Fishing Adventure, you will take part in one of the most popular winter activities in Northern Norway. The tour begins with a scenic drive through fjords, valleys, and mountains before arriving in a hidden area surrounded by rugged Arctic wilderness.

Once at the frozen lake, we equip ourselves with ice drills, bait, and fishing gear before heading out onto the ice. Together, we drill holes in the ice, prepare the fishing rods, and patiently wait for trout or Arctic char to bite. Relax on cosy reindeer hides while gently moving the rods and taking in the spectacular surroundings and ever-changing Arctic light.

Dress warmly to make the most of your time out on the ice. During the experience, we serve hot drinks and snacks. While we cannot guarantee a catch on every tour, this is still a fascinating and memorable Arctic experience.

This tour is perfect for guests who want to explore tranquil wilderness, Arctic culture, and authentic Northern Norwegian nature far away from the city.
