








Want to learn more about the aquaculture industry and experience how norwegian salmon is produced? Then you are welcome to join us for a closer look at the aquaculture industry at Skjervøy.
The Aurora Salmon Centre is Lerøy Aurora's visitors center at 70 degrees north in Skjervøy municipality in Nord-Troms. From 1st of July to 1st of August, we offer tourist information.
The concept consists of the center with a historical exhibition, which tells about the development of the fishing industry in the region from the WW II until today. This section was prepared in collaboration with Nord-Troms Museum.
The exhibition inside the center also consists of films that show today's aquaculture industry, and a taste of the industry of the future.
At the center you also get coffee / drinks, you can relax in our cafe and there is a small children's play area.
Entrance to the visitors centre is free.
If you would like a guided tour, please contact us in advance.
We offer as well guided boat tours to our viewing location outside Skjervøy by boat. The boat trip takes 2.5 - 3 hours and must be booked in advance. Not available from 1st of July to 7th of August.
