Slettåsheia is located at Kleivane on Ubergsmoen.
From Svinevika (crossing into Vaaje) you drive 1.3 km into the old Våjesaga. Turn right toward Kleivane and proceed approximately 1.3 km. Here there is a gravel forest road to the right just after a residential building. Drive approx 150 meters here, and park where the trail begins.
The tour goes partly on a tractor path and is marked with blue paint. The hike up to the top takes about 45 minutes at a slow pace. The tour has circular tracks so you can go in any direction, but it's nice to go to the right at the first intersection.
On top there are many nice picnic areas with great views all the way to the sea.
A map can be purchased at the Esso petrol station in Vegårshei, Kilsloftet, Færsnes Gjestegård or the Vegårshei kommune house in the centre of town.
