Adventure Norway in Hesså, Bjelland is an adventure company offering great activities in a beautiful environment. Their base in douthern Norway is tranquil, a place for you to really relax, but at the same time enjoy some great adventures.

Adventure Norway offers river rafting, via ferrata climbing, rapelling, canoeing, paintball, elk safari and much more.

Accommodation
At the rafting center they offer a variety of accommodation by the riverbanks of the beautiful Mandal River. They have 6 huts with 4 beds in each, 1 flat with kitchen facilities, a "Tree lavvo" for up to 15 people, 2 lavvoes by the riverbed for 10 people in each lavvo, tent spaces by the riverbed and campervan and caravan spaces.

Adventure Norway has the Adventuremark certification
Adventuremark allows providers to demonstrate to their customers or users that the provider's arrangements for managing the potential risks of adventure activities have been inspected and found to meet the necessary standards of good practice in the adventure activity industry. 

The founder
Ewen Martin was born in Scotland. He moved to Norway in 2000 together with his Norwegian wife. They live on Hesså right next to Adventure Norway. Ewen started Adventure Norway in 2003.

Ewen had a career in the British army as fitness instructor. He worked mainly as outdoor pursuits instructor who trained soldiers in Britain, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Norway, Canada, Austria and holds the following qualifications:

- BCU (british canoe union) – Level 5 Kayak coach.
- BASI ( British association of snowsport instructors) – Nordic level 3 ISIA
- Alpine level 2
- Telemark level 2
- DSV ( Deutschskiverband) Ski lehrer – Alpin/ Langlauf
- IML ( International mountain leader)
- HBF ( Heeresbergfuhrer) – germany army mountain guide
- MIA ( Mountain instructor award)

Ewen has also led several climbing expeditions in Nepal, Argentina, Norway France and Austria.
