An easy hike in the forest with several starting points, e. g from Randitjørni.

Drive Nysetvegen to Randitjørni where the road flattens. From there is a marked trail to Smettbak - Mefaringen. Take to the left in the crossroad towards Mefaringen.

The trail goes past the closed down mountain farm Skalledokki. When you pass the mound, the trail continues to the top of a small hill towards the mountain farm Holli. Here you'll find another crossroad where the marked and cleard trail towards Høgebrot continues to the right. After a gentle ascent past the limetree-border you come to a marsh. Follow the trail further up the hill and after about 500 metres you reach the top of Høgebrot.

How to get here: From Ål station upwards Vestlia to Jonsetsvingen (3,1 km).From there drive along Nysetvegen to Randitjørni (3,5 km). Toll road (cash only).
Park on the right hand side of the road by Randitjørni.
