Well lit hiking trail at Asdal which is 2,3 km long. Arendal kommune is responsible for the maintenance. Free parking at Asdal school.

Right next to the school in Asdal there are many fine hiking possibilities.
Amongst other trails you'll find the well lit trail passing close by the school and Lunderød stadium. Out of this trail spring many more trails.

We recommend three trails:
a short round trip of approximately 2 km. One a little bit longer around Hermansplass and a longer round trip to Kjenna. The gravel road is doable with bikes, maybe at some climbs you must push the bike.

How to get there?
Take bus nr 102 from Arendal city center, get off at Asdal. From the mainroad where you get off it's just a short walk up to your right to Asdal school.

If you want to ride your bike, it's 6 km on safe bike roads.

Car parking right next to the school. Follow road fv 407 from Arendal city in direction Rygene/Asdal. After passing the Joker store on your left it's the next road up to the right.
