Join us on a vivid journey back to the Middle Ages on historical grounds!

At Sverresborg, where King Sverre Sigurdsson once ruled from Sion Castle, the Trondheim Medieval Festival invites you to a weekend filled with experiences for the whole family.
Experience knights and warriors, wandering musicians and jugglers, medieval ballads, historical cuisine, exciting lectures and activities, crafts and an atmospheric medieval market. Also explore the ruins of King Sverre's castle and visit the beautiful Haltdalen Stave Church, one of Norway's few preserved stave churches from the Middle Ages.
