THE WISDOM AND INTELLIGENCE OF THE BODY

5RHYTHMS 21 - 23 AUG TRONDHEIM

Welcome to the dance and seminar at Stammen on Saturday 22 August from 11.00-18.00 with Hege Gabrielsen.

This is a great opportunity to experience how the free dance form 5rhythms can be experienced and learned by everyone regardless of previous experience, physical shape or age.

We dance from 11:00-13:30 under the guidance of Hege:
The more we dance, the more we are danced and the more we are danced the more we come into deeper contact with our inner life and the moment here and now. Our inner life expands our experience and understanding of ourselves and each other. Dance takes us into its undulating eddies of life as flowing energies. The inner life is in continuous movement and movement is transformation. The energies dance in a symphony of form and formlessness. Dance gives us unique access to our own wisdom, the wisdom and intelligence of the body.

There is no right or wrong dance - no good better best in dance.
Together we create a space where everyone has the opportunity to experience this in their own way.

After the dance, there will be a two-hour lunch break.

From 3:30 PM - 6:00 PM there will be a seminar about 5 rhythms and the different maps this dance form has to offer.
There will be a look back at how Gabrielle Roth developed the structure in 5 rhythms.
We will enter the different levels of 5 rhythms - waves, heartbeat, cycles, mirrors and "the silver dessert", all of which embrace the body's physical, emotional, mental, energetic and spiritual wisdom. The body's own intelligence and potential in relation to artificial intelligence that we face today? And in a world of much chaos and unrest - what role can dance play?

There will of course be time and opportunity for questions and exchanges of experiences along the way.

We hope for life-giving and inspiring dance days that will arouse curiosity.
