Organ sound in the cathedral: "Vater unser im Himmelrech"

The organ concert "Vater unser im Himmelrech" with Anders Eidsten Dahl offers music by Georg Böhm, JS Bach and Felix Mendelssohn, among others.

The common thread is the hymn "Vater unser im Himmelrech". It is also in our hymnbook under the title "The Resurrection and Life Certain". Bach has several variations on "Vater unser im Himmelrech" - from the unstable and "chaotic" to a calmer, rhythmic and harmonious progression.

Anders Eidsten Dahl is an associate professor of organ at the Norwegian Academy of Music and a freelance concert organist and church musician at Bragernes Church, Drammen. He regularly gives solo concerts and is active as a chamber musician. Dahl has released a number of critically acclaimed albums as a soloist and chamber musician.
