Learning from the artist: Tobias Liljedahl

On Thursday, May 28, artist Tobias Liljedahl and curator Marianne Zamecznik will meet to talk about Liljedahl's curation of the room "Landscape" in the group exhibition "Learning from the Artist" at TKM.

The exhibition challenges traditional art history by letting artists interpret the museum's collection. Through the artists' perspectives, methods and experiences, new, multi-voiced paths into art are created. In this way, the exhibition focuses on artistic method rather than chronology, and through this spring's series of conversations you will meet some of the artists and the voices behind these choices. The conversations provide insight into artistic processes, reflections on the selections, and what happens when we see a collection with new eyes.
