Our cultural heritage is important to the Trondheim Soloists, and for this concert they bring with them one of Norway's most exciting young performers, Marja Mortensson.

With the Southern Sami yoik tradition at its center, she uses the sonorous and rhythmic elements of the language to create her distinctive musical universe.

This concert presents Suite no. 1, Aarehgïjre – Early Spring and Suite no. 2, Tjaktje – Autumn, both of which were created in collaboration with composer and arranger Knut Anders Vestad.
