Concert with Stavangerkameratene in Stavanger Konserthus Friday 12 February
Extra concert at 18!
In the winter of 2017, the Stavanger comrades started preparing their live set and that spring they held their first concert at home. Then followed two warm-up concerts for Mods at Viking Stadium in front of 25,000 people which gave enormous success. They also sold out their own concert in DNB Arena with room for 5,500 people. Since then, many hundreds of thousands have seen them at concerts around the country and the quartet is today considered one of Norway's most popular live bands.
Four years after their debut, the guys at Stavanger Comrades have 2 albums behind them, over 50 million streams on Spotify, over 6 million views on YouTube, several gold and platinum trophies and a number of Norway tours. It is safe to say that the boys from Stavanger have grown out of their native Rogaland and become a national phenomenon. In the new year, they go on tour again, and in Stavanger Konserthus they are on stage Friday 12 February!
In addition to their own releases and concerts, the four artists who make up Stavanger comrades have become known to a large audience via TV. Kjartan Salvesen won Idol in 2004, Tommy Fredvang is i.a. known from X-Factor in 2009, Stjernekamp in 2015 and the mega-success «Vi elsker ABBA», Glenn Lyse won Idol in 2007 and Ole Alexander Mæland has a background as a vocalist in Elle Melle and participated in The Voice in 2012.
